the Navy Seabees during World War II and traveled
throughout the U.S. building dams and various
water projects for the government and private
companies. He is survived Elizabeth (Betty),
his loving wife of 13 years; children, Robert Michael
(Dorothy) McCarty and Judith A. (Pete)
Klein; grandchildren, Shawn (Debra) Klein, Debra
Klein, Todd (Darlene) McCarty, Tammy McCarty
(Steve) Jerome, and Tiffany McCarty (John) Armstrong;
4 great grandchildren. He was preceded
in death by his wife of 59 years, Betty A.
