Raised on a farm in Iowa doing many of the chores- especially milking the cows.
After High School graduation he moved to Colorado. He was drafted into the
Army and served from November 4, 1952 to October 12,1954 lafi4.- He spent one year of that time in Korea during the Korean war.
Upon discharge he returned to Colorado where he got a job at Du Pont and worked there for many years. He also got his electricians license.
He was an assistant coach at a Girl's Soft Ball Team where he met his wife, Susan. They have been married for 53 years.
He has three children: daughter Terri Rayburn, Sons Russell Shea and Ronnie Shea, and stepson Steven Shea.
There are many fond memories. He loved hunting, fishing, motorcycles, camping, playing jokes on people and just having fun.
