I remember the first time I taught for Dance Caravan Blue in Denver. I think it was 1966. As I began my first morning Teachers' Class, my eyes were immediately drawn to a beautiful woman who seemed to embody the essence of ballet. Long, slender, neck; immaculately crafted bun; the dreamy quality of her graceful ports de bras. Imagine my delight when she introduced herself to me after the class: "I am Roberta Thornsberry." That was the beginning of a life-long friendship with her; her dashing husband, Ray; and their adorable daughter, Debbie. My 9-year-old son, Erik, and I were even guests in their home. A magical visit, which just happened to include a "Ray-arranged" visit to a closed Mile High Stadium. Erik, of course "scored" his very own touchdown! I was lucky to be a guest teacher at Roberta's dance studio many times, giving me the opportunity to work with all her inspiring students... including Debbie. Dear, dear Roberta. All my loving memories keep you alive for me... forever.

Mrs. T shaped my life for 20 years, and her words and lessons have stayed with me since. She will be greatly missed.

Roberta Thornsberry was an amazing sprit. My niece Ariel Evans was a student at Little Theatre. But she was not the only one who learned.  Both Mr and Mrs T displayed in words and actions there mission. I was blessed to have known both of you. Your legacy shall live forever.

To the entire family my biggest condolences.

Mr. & Mrs. T were an amazing part of my life growing up. From the Tumbling Thunderbirds to Cotillion at the Aviation Club, some of the best things about who I am came from these two wonderful people.

Roberta was one of the sweetest neighbors and friends we have ever known. She and Ray are truly missed.

My mom Dorothy Bruce was a long time friend with Roberta.  My niece Jennifer Bruce was a dance student of Roberta's. I was lucky enough to go to lunch with all the ladies from time to time.  Roberta was always so nice and so beautiful.  I know my mom will miss her very much.

To Debbie & David, I have wonderful memories growing up in & around your family and at the studio.  You all have a special place in my heart.  I love your mom & dad. Thank you. Love.
