

Roger was born April 20, 1940. Rolland and Gladys Wheeler adopted Roger soon after he was born. He was a native of Denver and graduated from Mount Carmel High School on June 7, 1959. He enlisted in the Navy and was honorably discharged on February 21, 1963.
On March 26, 1977, he married Rexetta L. Nordstrom, who had four children, Beverly, Bill, Cathy and Brenda. Together they were parents of six! Roger is the father of Don and Janine Wheeler.
After leaving the Navy, he became a stockman for a local grocery store. He eventually became a Produce Manager. He also served as a Permit Manager for an oil company for five years. He is most noted for the 22 years he spent driving a truck.
He became a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Westminster in 2001. He was a member fo the Masonic Freemasons and the Miracl Lodge.
His greatest passion was racing cars. He especially loved Sprint car racing and still owns a sprint car.
Roger transitioned to glory May 5, 2014 in Kearney, Nebraska.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Rolland and Gladys Wheeler.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Rexetta, his 2 children, Don and Janine Wheeler and 4 step-children, Beverly, Bill, Cathy and Brenda; 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Roger was devoted to his family, was loved by them and by many others and will be missed.
