Sharon Colleen Streno

Sharon was born in 1942 in Safford, Arizona, daughter of Richard L. German and Geneva D. Leeper. She was a teacher’s assistant for many years at Smedley Elementary School. While she was raising her own children, she also opened her home and helped to foster children. Her favorite past times included fishing, camping, gardening, and winning at games of scrabble and cribbage. She taught her children a strong work ethic, the enjoyment of a simple life, and the importance of family. Sharon adored her family and cherished spending time with her grand-children and great grand-children.

Sharon was married to Walter S Streno Jr for 34 years until his death in 2006. She is survived by her children Charlene Streno (Eric), Anthony Streno (Ann), Tonya Sanchez (Anthony), Lori Robertson (Adam), seven grandchildren, Christopher Streno (Keri), Amanda Gonzales (Mehregan), Jacob Robertson, Eric Gonzales, Nicholas Robertson, Aidan Moody, Elizabeth (Lizzy) Robertson, great grandchildren, Gavin, Amorae, Bradford, Austin, Ryan, Bree, extended family, and dear friends.

Sharon truly made an impact on everyone’s lives that she touched, and she will be deeply missed.
