Sidney "Denver Sid" Barcelon

Sidney “Denver Sid” Barcelon born on January 21, 1948, passed away on Sunday, January 23rd, 2022, at the age of 74. Sid spent his life working hard to be a master electrician; however, his one true passion was playing pool. He quickly earned the well-respected name Denver Sid the Colorado kid at a very young age and could be found at the pool hall even in his last days. Sid was a loving father and an adoring grandfather as he was ever so grateful of his family. He was the greatest friend to so many as he filled his life with a countless number of smiling faces. He taught us all to appreciate the little things in life and truly live to the fullest. Forever loved and remembered is a real understatement. Until we meet again.

Survivors include his son, Sidney Jay Barcelon, daughter, Shawn J. Krebs, and her husband Harold, 7 adoring granddaughters’ (by age), Sydney Malmrose and her husband Dave, Bailey Barcelon, Jaiden Krebs, Reagan Barcelon, Kyle Krebs, Ryan Krebs, and Andie Barcelon, life-long/friend/ex-wife Linda. Predeceased by parents, Eli and Lucy Barcelon, sister, Mabel and brothers, Eli, Edward, and Alfred.

Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 7777 W. 29th Ave in Wheat Ridge, CO. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. On Friday, February 4, 2022, at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery.
