

On March 12th of 2016, Steven Cody Alan Harrison passed during a fatal motorcycle accident. Although Cody’s time here on earth was cut short, his bold personality and his even larger heart had a huge impact on anyone that he came into contact with making him an unforgettable and unreplaceable grandson, son, brother, uncle, boyfriend and a friend.
Steven Cody Alan Harrison was born in Denver, CO on May 27th of 1986 to the proud parents Mary Elizabeth Guthart and Steven Todd Harrison, who he will now be reunited with in his time of resting. Cody will also be reunited with his grandparents Mary and Wendell Guthart; and his older sister Rochelle Hope. While we can be happy that he will be reunited with part of his family he has left behind a large group that will hurt for him. Cody leaves behind His Grandparents Earlene and Thurman Harrison, his older brothers Vale and Tony Pina, his younger sister Catlin Harrison, his nieces Caisie Paige and Dakota Pina, and Gemma Guthart, his beloved dog Charlie and his girlfriend Chelsea Henneman. Cody also leaves behind a village of family and friends that will always miss and cherish him.
Cody attended Arvada High School in Arvada, CO and continued his education and career growth through Box Elder Job corps. While at Job Corps. Cody volunteered as a Firefighter for the Nemo volunteer fire department. After leaving the Pipefitting industry, Cody found his calling in the field of residential and commercial building maintenance. While Cody was a hard worker he also loved to play never missing a Broncos game or party, he also loved fishing, gardening, camping, hunting, spending time with Charlie, and taking long rides on his motorcycle.
Cody’s life was cut short in its prime and we all know that his future was full of success and memories that we will never get to make, but if your reading this and you knew Cody you can look back at a memory that you made with him, some will make you laugh, some will make you cry and some might even make you a little mad. Hang on to these memories in remembrance of his life and embrace them all. Cody was a big hearted gentleman and he would want for us all to continue on and he would appreciate seeing the love that has come together to put him to rest.
