Sue Vena Felmlee, 69, of Denver, Colorado came into this world on April 6th, 1953 and left peacefully in her home on March 15th, 2023. Sue was born to her mother, Dorothy Kennedy, and father, Ralph Turner. Sue grew up in North Denver, Colorado alongside her siblings, Beverly, John, and Judy. Sue was a graduate of North High School in 1971. Sue met the love of her life, Fred Felmlee, they were married on July 15th, 1988 and shared 35 beautiful years together.
To everyone who knew Sue, knew that her family was held at the highest importance. The bond she shared with her mom, sisters and brother meant everything to her. That love continued into her own nuclear family in 1973 when Sue became the proud mom of her daughter, Vena. Sue was absolutely in love with her grandchildren, Brittany, Andrew, Conrad, and Brian; and her great grandchildren, Riley, Ashton, Eden, Adylina and Aylina.
The other greatest joys of her life were her dogs, Buttons and Gizmo; and grand dogs, Daisy and Cooper. They loved her too, and the endless amounts of treats she would sneak under the table.
Sue loved working as a Dietician at St. Anthony’s North Hospital. In Sue’s spare time, she loved going out to dinners with her friends and family, and shopping with her niece Nicole. Sue’s absolute favorite holiday was Christmas, her countdown and shopping for the next Christmas began Christmas Night.

Like a shadow in the moonlight
Like the whisper of the seas
Like the echoes of a melody
Just beyond our reach
In the shadow of our sorrow
Past the whisper of goodbye
Love shines through eternity
A heartbeat from our eye
We love you till forever
Spread your wings and fly
