Susan Kay Baca

Born on August 9, 1964 in Pomona, CA, she lived in Waterford and Modesto, CA, before settling in Mentone and Yucaipa, CA, where she had resided for several years before relocating to Colorado and residing there for the past few years. She worked most of her career at Plymouth Village in Redlands, CA, as a Director of Staff Development until 2014. She has recently worked at 7-11 in Wheat Ridge, CO and Homewood Suites in Lakewood, CO.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Baca of Wheat Ridge, CO, children, Gary Baca Jr of Wheat Ridge, CO, Anthony Baca of Queen Creek, AZ, Thomas Baca (Brittany) of Redlands, CA, and Manuel Baca of Redlands, sister, Brenda Proetel of Turlock, CA, brother, Chuck Forrest (Dawn) of El Cajon, CA, three step-sisters, Audrey Mercer and Kathy Fee of Keyes, CA, Sandra Benge of Ceres, CA, three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends that loved her dearly. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Carolyn Forrest.

Celebration of life will be held on Sunday May 12, at 1:00 PM, at the Turlock Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2400 N. Olive Avenue, Turlock, CA 95382 with Pastor Antonio Cano officiating.
