Hathaway family, please accept my deepest sympathy.
My heart goes out to you at this time, and in the days ahead.
Except for vacations and days off, Susan and I worked together over 30 years on the same shift.  She would laugh when I would comment, that we had been together longer than most marriages last.
Like most long friendships, we had our moments of praising each other, and at times barking at each other.
We were able to share with each other, the stories of the wonderful and sometimes difficult moments in our lives.
The memory I will always associate with Susan, was her honesty.
Susan always said what she meant, and meant what she said. 
I have 3 sisters. But, when I think of everything I have mentioned above in reference to Susan, I truly believe I had 4.

My deepest sympathy to the Hathway family. Susan and I shared a great deal the love of our chihuahuas. I always looked forward to sharing our stories to each other when I came to work. Susan hooked me up with adopting one that turned out to be the best pets I have ever had. I will miss her...Betty/Avis retired

I have so many childhood memories of Susie when she lived in Lakewood.  The trail rides, with lunches to go! Down to the creek or racing across the school grounds.  Wow! what a fun time we had!  It was about the time I entered high school that she moved to Arvada and we lost contact, but I never forgot her.  I am so glad that she touched my life, she was in many ways, my "little" sister back then.  My most sincere thoughts and prayers to the family during this time of loss.

So many roses yet to smell,

Susie was always special to our family because of the fun times we shared with her when she occaisionally stayed with us for the weekend when she was about the age in the enclosed photo.Our entire family just adored her,and looked forward to her visits.
My sister, brother and I always wished she could stay with us and be our little sister.
She was always laughing and such a happy little girl.
She grew up to be a lovely girl who was full of life with a wonderful sense of humor.
Nicola and Denise shared a special connection to her and Nancy and Kenneth and Kenny while they were involved in horse clubs and activities.
Susie was a bright, shining star in the Hathaway family, and we will always remember  her beautiful smile.
