She passed away peacefully on October 28, 2024, as she was surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 22, 1957 in Shreveport, LA, Tammra entered the world just three minutes after her identical twin sister, Pamela. She was the cherished daughter of James and Gayle Passwaters, both of whom have predeceased her.
Tammra was raised in Arvada, Colorado, where she attended Pomona High School. Shortly after graduating, she met the love of her life, Richard Lombardo, while working at Dave Cooks Sporting Goods. Their connection was instant and enduring, and they married on June 23, 1979. Together, they built a beautiful life, guided by love, filled with laughter, a strong commitment to family, and a sincere passion for being together.
Tammra enjoyed a long and fulfilling career in the steel industry, where she worked in sales. Her dedication to her work was matched only by her devotion to her family and friends. Tammra had a warm and welcoming spirit, always going above and beyond to make those around her feel appreciated and loved. Many of her children’s friends saw her as a second mother, a testament to her nurturing and inclusive nature.
Tammra’s family was her world. She is survived by her devoted husband, Richard; her son, Christopher and his wife, Melissa; and, her daughter Callie and her husband, Todd. Tammra was a proud and dedicated Gram and Mimi to her six grandchildren: Mariah and her husband, Marcos, Nathan, Mackenzee, Addison, and Jemma; and her three great-grandsons, Massiah, Maceo, and Maxton. Tammra is also survived by her twin sister Pamela and her husband, Sam; her niece Lindzy and husband, Chris; and, her nephews Peyton and Landon.
Tammra’s joy for life was expressed through her love of shopping, decorating her home, gardening, celebrating holidays, and being her grandchildren’s #1 cheerleader. She created a warm, festive atmosphere and cherished making her home a place of love and celebration for her family and friends.
Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her legacy of love, kindness, excitement, and generosity will live on. Tammra will be remembered for the joy she brought to others and the countless lives she touched with her warmth and compassion. Her family, friends, and all who were fortunate to know her, will carry her memory and traditions with them always.
Tammra’s celebration of life will be held at Olinger Crown Hill in Wheat Ridge.
