Tom was born on May 18, 1975, in Denver, Colorado, to Nancy (Lorentz) McCoumb and Frank McCoumb III.
Throughout his life, Tom was known for his warmth, generosity, humor, strength, and his deep love for his children. Tom treasured the time he spent with them. On the weekends you could often find him at parks, taking long adventurous walks, fishing, roller skating, playing video games, or just watching movies and relaxing with his children.
Tom enjoyed the great outdoors. From stargazing and watching the weather roll in to riding bikes, he found peace and joy in the simple moments.
One of Tom’s greatest joys was playing his guitars and sharing his love of music with his children, encouraging their own passion for music.
Tom is survived by his mother, Nancy Lorentz of Centennial; his brother, Frank McCoumb IV of Littleton; and his sister, Linda McCoumb of Centennial.
He also leaves behind his five beloved children: Danielle McCoumb, Alyssa McCoumb, Brayden McCoumb, Mason and Kaitlyn McCoumb.
Tom was also a proud grandfather to Kylie and Cayden, who brought him great joy.
He is further survived by his seven nieces and nephews: Patrick, Ashley, Kyle, Dakota, Cody, Gunnar, and Natalie, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
