

Tom was born March 22, 1936, in Denver, Colorado. He was raised by his loving grandparents, Benjamin and Rebecca Martinez. After attending West High School, Tom joined the service and served as a Marine during the Korean War. He served in the Philippians and created many lifelong memories and friends during the time he served. After returning to the states, he married his high school sweetheart, Madge. Together they raised three children, who were Tom’s pride and joy.
Tom was a loyal and hardworking man, he spent 42 years at Martin Marietta working in the aerospace photography department.
Tom was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed sports, reading, history, music and dancing. He coached at St. Joseph’s grade school and was a great storyteller. He was an avid Bronco fan and supported all Colorado teams. Tom was a member of the International Foot Printers Association, Eagles, and the VFW.
Preceded in death by son, Michael, great grandson Lyrik, three brothers, and three sisters.
Tom is survived by his wife of 65 years, Madge, daughter Gina (Veronica), son Steve (Renee), sister Linda, grandsons Chad and Steven, granddaughters Jessica (Brandon), and Kasandra (Jeffrey), great grandchildren, Carsen, Lucas, Bennett, Charlotte, and Jameson. Also survived by many other family members and friends.
A visitation for Tom will be held Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and a rosary service at 6:00 PM at Olinger Crown Hill, Chapel of Peace. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at12:30 PM at Presentation of our Lady, 695 Julian St, Denver, CO 80204 with a committal service at Ft Logan National Cemetery to follow.
