Tomas Estevan Gallegos

It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Coach Tomas ‘Chocolate Chip’ Gallegos. Tomas was brought into this world by Maria and Jose Gallegos on November 14 of 1970. Tomas was the baby brother of his siblings Angelica (Angie), Jose and Irma. Though Tomas was a wild child he was kept busy with his abundance of children (he REALLY needed cable), which are as follows SonniMarie, Rachelle (Jamal), Charlene(Brandon) , Nikala (Ozleon), Javier, Xochitl, DeAnna, Tomas Jr and Marissa. He loved and was loved by his many grandchildren (Clearly his kids took after him and needed cable too). Coach was known to most as loving father and one of the most influential boxing coaches in Denver. He helped a lot of youth pursue dreams and success through his training. Though we are sad we find peace in knowing Tomas was lead in his transition by his Mama Tina , plenty of friends and family and was embraced by the woman he loved until his very last breathe, Jackie. So this one is for you coach, HOUSE OF WHAT!?

A funeral service for Tomas will be held at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, located at 7777 West 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033, on February 24, 2026. The service will begin at 1:00 pm and conclude at 2:00 pm.

Following the funeral service, a graveside service will take place at the same location from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
