Vicki Barker was born in Los Angeles, California on May 22, 1944 and passed away February 28, 2013 at the age of 68 in Lakewood, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her father; Kern McDavid and step-father; Larry Wilde. She is survived by her adoring mother; Esther Wilde, 2 sisters; Bobbi & (Ron) McCrummen, and Marti Carey, 1 daughter; Shannon & (Kevin) Barker-Nakamura, 1 beloved grandson; Chase Barker, and 2 nieces & 4 nephews. She was a kind, compassionate, funny, loving and devoted Mom & Gramma. She was a lover of books (all kinds but mostly, who-dunnits), and cross-word puzzles. She was artistic & nurturing, as was evidenced in her paintings & flower gardens. She was taken from this life & those who loved her far, far too soon. She will be greatly missed & forever remembered by all she touched in her life. A private memorial will be held at the family's home.
