Another year passes us by and we still never have a day that Cooper and I don’t sit down and talk to you. We are doing better. Every night we go outside before Cooper goes to bed and look at one particular star. That is you. And we just talk to you and tell you about our day. Then we tell you good night. 

I’ll always love you Wade and I miss you but you finally being at peace makes it a lot easier for my heart.

I think of you so often, Wade.  All of the amazing memories we have together.  You were such an important part of my life for such a long time.....I miss you so much and can hardly believe you left us 2 years ago.  I wish you were here so I could give you a huge hug and tell you in person what you meant to me.  Thinking of you still, my friend, and that will never end......

It doesn't seem possible that you've already been gone one year.  I'm remembering you today, as always.  Miss you 😔 

Words cannot describe how much I’m missing you right now. I cared about you so much and still do, and loved you more than you’ll ever know. As each day passes it seems like I miss you more and more, you never really know how much someone means to you until you’ve lost them. It saddens me because I’ve been staying at the house where we’ve shared our last moments together and walking in each room and not seeing you there, ordering dinner for one instead of two, seeing how sad Cooper is, and not having your physical presence there altogether really only reconfirms that you’re gone. I really do hope that you’re my guardian angel and that you will bring me peace so that I can cope with such a tragic event. I miss that I can’t text you anymore, I miss that I can’t call you, I miss that we can’t go to the casino’s anymore, I miss waking up to seeing your face every morning, I miss hearing your voice, I miss your scent, I miss you complaining about me taking too long of a shower. 

I think the hardest part for me, is seeing Cooper down, which is unlike him. I’m saddened because he cannot express his feelings like a human being, and I know he MISSES you so much. I wish often that you’d walk through the door and that this was all a dream. You have no idea how many times I cry in the bathroom stall at work, or in the shower. Or how many times I hold you necklace close to me, or how many times I sniff your clothes to get a whiff of your scent. 
It’s hard to think that I’ll have to start all over with dating, I was so happy and content being with you! You truly were my everything, I love you always and forever Q!

Here I. San Diego sharing Wade here where he loved it. 

Today is one of those difficult days.  You've crossed my mind several times and the harsh reality that you are no longer with us leaves me despondent.  My heart hurts.  Miss you more than you'll ever know. I'm grateful for my memories.  I hope this gets easier.  

Wade has been a friend for almost 30 years.  We met in California when he was in and getting out of the Navy.  He loved me and my son and we spent alot of time together back in the 90s.  We stayed in touch, I always talked to him on his birthday and he always was amazed that I would remember him each year.  Wade, I know you have suffered for a long time.  I hope you are finally at peace.  I will never forget you.

We met when Wade just got out of the Navy.  We spent four terrific years together.  On our first official date we were playing pool and I happened to mention that it was my birthday.  He said, " No way!" It just so happened that we were born on the same day, same year. We thought it was kismet.  In those days Wade loved his cars. I would watch him for hours.  He could detail a car like no one I've ever known! We were young and had some really great times.  Hikes in Estes Park,  we spent a lot of time up in Central City.  Wade loved his seafood from the casinos! I have a lot of great memories to cherish.  I can't look at a cherry yogurt or hear Sheryl Crow music without thinking of you!

Although we lost contact for several years, we reconnected in 2018 and spent a lot of great time catching up. I will miss those chats and have had a difficult time processing his passing.  The only true solace I have is the fact that he is together with his beautiful mom Nancy.  

There were a couple of pictures posted here that were taken during our time together ❤️  The picture of Wade with the cockerspaniel was our dog "Socks". 

My sincere condolences to Edmond. I am grateful that he had you in his corner.

It’s very hard to imagine my life without you now! You will always have a place in my heart and have had a HUGE impact on my life. I will miss calling you Q in the mornings and I will miss saying I love you in the morning before I ventured off to work. I will miss our little adventures of restaurant exploring, our many memories in Breckenridge, and our occasional long-night discussions in bed. I am so very glad and happy that I was able to spend your last years with you. I will forever miss you telling me to stop taking a Hollywood shower and your encouragement for me to finish school. Words cannot describe how saddened I am that you’re gone, but I know you are in a better place, I will miss you always and forever Q!

From one shipmate to another, "Fair winds and following seas" and thank you for being such a great friend these last 31 years. You will truly be missed my friend.

Wade, you were one of the first friends I met when I first moved to Denver, and we packed a lot of great times in a short amount of time. I'm sorry we lost contact with each other, but I'm glad our paths crossed and I got to know you, even if it was for a brief time.  My condolences to Edmond and the rest of Wade's family.  Rest peacefully Wade.

So many memories of you have played through my mind in the past week and I cannot believe you have passed. You taught me so many life lessons including keeping a clean house!  I will really miss the occasional catch up conversations. Rest in peace Wade.

While we didn't get the chance to talk often, I'll always remember the time I made a complete fool of myself while trying to give Edmond a hard time. You handled my prank call with grace and appreciation of the effort, for which I will always be grateful. In all seriousness, you were a kind and wonderful person any time I encountered you and I feel blessed to know you and your family.
