William Buel Moore passed away on January 26, 2015, at age 90. Buel was born August 27, 1924, in Fresno, California, and moved to Denver with his parents when he was three years old. He grew up in south Denver, graduating from South High School in 1942. Buel served in the Army during World War II and in the Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for Public Service Company of Colorado within the Stores Department as a Material Controller, retiring after 36 years of service. Buel was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth; daughters Sharon (John) Leslie and Debra (Joe) Markano; grandchildren Jennifer Leslie, Joshua (Jackie) Leslie, Evan Markano, and Alex Markano.
His life will be celebrated on Monday, February 2, at Crown Hill, Chapel of Peace, 7777 W. 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge. Visitation at 12 noon, services at 1pm.
Donations may be made in Buel’s name to the American Heart Association.
