William B. Phelps

A memorial for William Blaine Phelps, loving husband & father passed away March 29, 2012 after a long & painful illness. Bill was 79 years old. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Altis Phelps & two daughters Nancy Susan Phelps of Denver, and Rhonda Lea Phelps of San Diego, CA.; brothers Morton Phelps of Mountain Grove, MO, Gerald Phelps of Wichita & a sister Norma Jean Johnson of Santa Ana, CA. also numerous loving nieces and nephews.

At this time Mildred, Nancy & Rhonda wish to thank all those in attendance at his funeral. Thank you for the loving gifts to The Denver Hospice and thank you for all the beautiful flower & plant arrangements. Special thanks to the pallbearers, Floyd Shafer (son in law), Bryce Johnson (nephew), Don Phelps (nephew), Allen Kenfield (friend of many years), Dave Gerkhe (good friend of Floyd & Nancy) & Derick Volle (good family friend).

It is hard to find words to express our gratitude to all the family, friends and neighbors who attended the viewing & graveside services. You filled our hearts with joy on this very rainy, cold day on April 3, 2012.

It has not been long since he passed and yet it feels like forever.

Bill was a devoted husband and father. He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed.
