William Harold Spadi, Sr. was born on June 20, 1930 in Ft. Morgan, Colorado. His parents were Phillip Spadi and Mary Marie Langmacher. Bill was one of nine children.
On August 7, 1948 he married his high school sweetheart, Sally Lou Richards at Ft. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming. His wife Sally, predeceased him in March of 2016. Bill is survived by his 3 children, daughter, Lori Hamilton; son William H. Spadi, Jr (Elisa); son Frederic J. Spadi; grandchildren Danielle Spadi, Justin Spadi, Beau Spadi and Jonathan Wolf. Great grandchildren are Matthew and Mia Rose. Bill is also survived by his 3 sisters – Alma Christine Berger, Jenay Tose and Harriett Sneddon and many nieces and nephews.
Bill served 6 years in the Air Force as a Private and then on to a Sergeant. He served time in Japan during the Korean War and specialized in carpentry and radio-television repairs.
Upon his return to Colorado from the Air Force, he received his stationary engineers degree and began working at Tivoli Brewing Company. When Tivoli closed in the late 1960’s, he worked at various hospitals, the federal center and at Stapleton Airport as the Assistant Airport Maintenance Supervisor.
His hobbies were bowling in earlier years followed by golf. He loved working in the yard with his wife and especially tending to his roses.
He was a generous man, a loving and devoted father and always there for his family. His family was the most important thing to him.
We will miss you Dad, but know you and Mom are now together. We love you.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 4-7:00pm at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary. Funeral service will be Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11:00am in the Olinger Crown Hill Pavilion of Reflection. Arrangements under the direction of Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary, Cemetery & Arboretum, Wheat Ridge, CO.
