Augustine F. Deruy,; Passed away Monday, September 29, 2014. Mr. Deruy was a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran and a proud member of the Detroit Police Department for 30 years. Mr. Deruy is survived by his adoring daughters; Colleen (Douglas) Shepherd, Diane (Brent) Cabble and Sharon (James) Hebert. Seven grandchildren, Jamie, Clint, Darren, Matthew, Kelly, Nathan and Devon. Four great grandchildren, Zachery, Lexi, Cody and Izzy. Mr. Deruy was preceeded in death by the love of his life, his wife of 55 years, Valley Mae, 8 years ago. A Memorial Service will take place on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, 43300 W. 12 Mile Rd., Novi, Michigan 48377 in the Oak Chapel.
