Bernadette Castiglione

Bernadette Castiglione of Commerce Township, passed away February 19, 2023 at 62 years of age.

Beloved wife of the late Anthony who sadly passed away on November 16, 2022. Loving mother of Lauren DeNio, Chelsea DeNio, Lexi (Josh) Kosmerick, Nick (Stephanie) Castiglione, Aaron (Candace) Castiglione and Daniel (Kellie) Castiglione. Proud grandmother of Adeline and baby Isabelle arriving soon, Alexander, Noah and Peyton. She is also survived by her siblings; Ken (Crystal) Podolski, Mary Ann (Larry) Rose, Sue (Greg) Wiegand and Kathy Davies along with several nieces and nephews.

Bernadette loved baking and will always be remembered as the "Cupcake Queen". She enjoyed gardening, reading, knitting, golfing, bowling and shopping. She graduated from Warren High School where she was a cheerleader and played softball. She was a very devout catholic and member of St. Mary, Our Lady of The Snows Catholic Church. Bernie was very gift giving and generous to everyone and she will be very much missed.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Orchard Lake St. Mary's Catholic Church. 3535 Commerce Road in Orchard Lake. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 2:00pm until 8:00pm at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road in White Lake and Friday at church from 10:00am until the time of the mass at 11:00am. There will be a Rosary Service Thursday evening at 6:00pm at the Funeral Home.
