Bernadine Mears, age 83 of White Lake, August 22, 2012. Beloved wife of the late George A. Mears. Dear mother of Michelle (Ronald) Niborski, Pamela (Craig) Beach, Cheryl Palmer, and Patricia (William) Groeller. Proud grandmother of 6 and great-grandmother of 10. Loving sister of Winifred Wallace, Sr. Evelyn Kruskamp, SSJ, Josephine Maskiewicz, Frank Kruskamp, Norman Kruskamp, Florence Zywocienski, , Sharon Kurmaniac, Colette Beauchamp, Mary L. Kruskamp, the late Charles Kruskamp, and the late Bettie Agresta. Bernadine was a devoted member of Peace Lutheran Church and also volunteered for Open Door. An always gracious and gentle woman, Bernadine will be remembered as an outstanding hostess with a nurturing spirit. Visitation Friday, August 24 from 3-9pm at the Union Lake Road Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Rd. White Lake. In State 10am with 11am Funeral Service Saturday at Peace Lutheran Church, 7390 Elizabeth Lake Rd., Waterford. Interment at Ridgelawn Memorial Cemetery, Oxford.
