Daniel Joseph Myers

Daniel Joseph Myers, age 58, of White Lake, was born September 29, 1956 and passed away October 28, 2014. Beloved husband of Karen (nee Torongeau). Loving father of Christopher (Lauren Gee) and Matthew. Dear brother of Donna, Thomas, Darlene and Dale. Cherished son of the late Richard Myers and the late Virginia Esper Myers of Dearborn. Dan lived as a loving and gentle man, a peacemaker. He completed an 8 year apprenticeship to become a Journeyman Die Maker. At 30, with his family by his side, he returned to school at Ferris State University. Using his experience and degree he became a highly regarded Manufacturing Engineer. He could get lost in a good story and was an avid reader of both contemporary and classic literature. His appreciation of music is a gift he passed on to his sons. After his wife and family, his love was restoring and driving vintage British sports cars. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 2, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Rd., White Lake. Funeral Visitation will be held Monday, November 3, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. also at the Funeral Home. Burial at Ferndale Cemetery, 14732 Sibley Rd., Riverview. Memorial Luncheon will be held Monday, November 3, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church, 1375 Hiller Rd., Waterford.
