Loving husband of Janie for 45 years. Brother of James (Diane) Grissom. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law of Debbie Grissom and John Dompierre. Sadly he is preceded in death by his parents, Douglas Rudolph and Doris Jean Grissom, his siblings, William Grissom and Geneva (nee Grissom) Dompierre.
Doug enjoyed restoring older vehicles and was extremely talented at making the old new again. He loved hunting and fishing with his brothers and family in northern Michigan. He will always be remembered for his way to put a "play on words". He loved to laugh, enjoyed a good joke and could talk to anyone. He will be very much missed by all.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 1:30 pm at Highland Church of the Nazarene, 1211 W. Livingston Road in Highland.
*Dessert reception will follow the celebration of life.
Interment: Lakeview Cemetery, Village of Clarkston, Michigan.
