Hi Betsy, As another new year starts, I remember your wonderful wit and infectious sense of humor.  Wish we could spend some time with  you and Dave once more.  As you know, you are dearly missed.  Dave is as devoted to you as ever, and it's an inspiration.  Bless you, you are missed.

Well honey, here it is, new years eve 2011. You have been gone from me for almost 2 yrs. but some times it seems for ever, others like yesterday. I had a little episode with my COPD but you know that, feeling better now, thanks for watching over me. Miss and loving you, as always

honey, would you believe Debbie Larcinese is now living outside Rochester NY. We are friends on FB and I told about the great places to see up in that area, especially Fair Haven. Told her I was bringing you "home", hopefully this summer. Getting ready for another Christmas - without you, miss you so much.

hi my precious lady, need I say I miss you. Spent a week with Chuck and Nacole and Connie. They are doing okay, Connie is well, finally got her disability and insurance. She has a couple of dogs, cute. Still doing my volunteering and  have a lot of fun with that. Joining a group of Widows/widowers to see what that is all about, gets a little lonely sometimes. hi sweetheart, it's been 25 days since my knee surgery and the PT is really hard and hurts alot  some times. your sister is a little behind in her PT for her knee. Going to Jessica's graduation sat from ITT, she's growing up honey. miss you so much - love always

good morning my Love, Going to get our rose tree trimmed and bring into the garage for winter (it will probably grow like it did last winter in our garage). Keep an eye on the medical people tomorrow as they redo my knee.

good morning sweetheart, it's saturday AM, 18 sept. Been here, "home" for 4 days. Getting used to everything, furniture coming tues., have lined my doctors for later, kids and jessica have helped unpack and assemble things, been a big help. Missing U

hi "sweet-treat", well it's started - papers are here to be signed and mailed back, the condo goes back to the bank and I'm  (we) are on our way to the new ranch in ft wayne - think you would like it. Miss you so much, but glad you don't have to go through all this stuff.

I ran into Mr. Mansell yesterday at Hillers! It was so nice to see you, and to hear that Betsy was surrounded with love at the end of her life.  She was a neat lady, and you guys made a very big impact on all of us here at Dr. Paul's office. Hello to you from all the girls here, and of course from Dr. Paul himself. good evening my sweet angel, it's April 27, you've been gone for 60 + days already. It's getting easier but still have a big ache in my heart. I signed the papers today with kathy to start the short sale of the condo and have a lot of scanning of documents to do to attach to my part of the sale package, sure glad you don't have to go through this. I'm not looking forward to my B-day, just like I wasn't for yours, and our anniversary coming - Jim is coming up and he & I are going to hang out somewhere. sure miss you! good night sweetheart

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Betsy. She was one remarkable women and like a second mother to our family. She brought such love and laughter to us all. I know that my mom has lost her best friend and we have lost a family member. My heart and prayers go out to you with many blessings. Dear Dave and all your family, We love you all and can't find the words to put in print telling of all the wonderful memories  we have of our times with you and Betsy in FairHaven each year. From collecting acorns on a spoon and carrying them back to the cabin, to nights around the campfire every new memory is more precious than the last one.  Betsy's faith was strong as was her love of her family --no, not only her family; but everyone she came in contact with--and she will not be forgotten. Our love to you all.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers. Dad and all of us kids and grandkids have felt your presence with us and we really appreciate it. Mom is much better now and can keep an eye on us from above. Thank you also to the Elton Black Funeral home family. They were amazing and really captured moms' spirit and made us all feel like friends. Thank you also to Pastor Brad. What a nice service. We'll miss you mom.

George and I are deeply saddened by Betsy's passing from this world.  She was such an amazing woman, full of spirit, light, and laughter.  We will always remember her smile, her laughter, her sense of fun.  It was truly a pleasure to know her, and I only wish we'd been able to see  more of her in the recent years.  We send our thoughts, our prayers, and our love to you, Dave, and to her children and grandchildren.  May your many wonderful memories ease your pain and bring you comfort.  The pictures on this site are delightful.  We shall never forget Betsy; she was an original in every way.  God bless.
