John "Michael" Gorrie of White Lake, formerly of Gulliver, Michigan passed away February 24, 2022 at 80 years of age.
Beloved husband of the late Judith Lee Gorrie. Loving father of Patrick (Sheila) Gorrie and Colleen (Joel) Davis. Proud grandfather of Katelyn Gorrie, Julia Gorrie, Taylor Thompson, Brooke Thompson, James Davis and Sarah Davis. Dear friend of Sherry Varnum. Brother of Pam (Roger) Prisbe and Bruce (Cathy) Gorrie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Gorrie enjoyed cross country skiing and was an avid runner who continued to run up to the age of 79. He loved to chop firewood and talking to people. He will be very much missed by all.
A private cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
