

Pamela Ann Collins, age 73, of White Lake Township, passed away January 1, 2017. Beloved mother of Nicole (Ron) Carboni and Suzette Collins. Cherished daughter of Vivian Miller and the late Clyde Miller. Treasured Nana of Courtney Carboni, Kaleb Schlecht and Ayden Schlecht. Pamela taught at Huron Valley Schools for 35+ years. She was a faithful member of Commerce United Methodist Church and an active community volunteer for their Stephen Ministry, Detroit Zoo, Library Board of White Lake, and Huron Valley Optimist Club. Pamela was adventurous and full of life. She enjoyed traveling the world, kayaking, painting, sailing, skiing, scuba diving, flying, playing cards and enjoying the symphony with friends.Most importantly Pamela loved spending time with her family and making a difference in every life she touched Pamela will be remembered for her wonderful smile, beautiful brown eyes, unconditional love, kindness, and willingness to help out anyone in need. She was a warrior, known for her strength and perseverance and she will be deeply missed by many.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 5:00pm until 8:00 pm at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Rd., White Lake. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 7, 2017 in Commerce United Methodist Church, 1155 N. Commerce Rd., Commerce, Michigan with Rev. Deane Wyllys officiating. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Detroit Zoo or Commerce United Methodist Church.
