

Born on January 6, 1944, in Davenport, Iowa, Sandi lived a life rooted in love, faith, and strength. For 62 years, she shared a devoted and joyful marriage with her beloved husband, Mike Bockelman. Together, they built a life filled with faith, family, and deep purpose.
Sandi is survived by her husband Mike; her children Scott Bockelman (Kim), Pam Osinski, and Rob Bockelman (Erika Behm); her grandchildren Shawn (Dan) Wiacek, Jovea (John) Belisle, Kiersten Maniaci, Ryan Maniaci (Kimberly Richelle), Hailey Osinski, Michael Osinski, D.J. Behm (Ashley Dodge), Dacotah Perry, and Konnar Bockelman; and 9 great-grandchildren. She was aloving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a faithful friend.
Sandi found joy in her garden, where she nurtured beauty and life, and in the loyal companionship of her dog, Sunni. Her deep Christian faith was central to her life, and her passionate beliefs guided how she lived and loved. She was never afraid to stand firm in her convictions, and she did so with grace, strength, and humility. Sandi’s legacy is one of fierce love, quiet wisdom, and an unwavering spirit. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
A memorial service to celebrate Sandi’s life will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Faith Lutheran Church, 3501 E Highland Rd, Highland Township. Doors open at 10:00 a.m. Service begins at 11:00 a.m. Luncheon to follow at the church
