Theresa Laurene Ventura

Theresa Laurene Ventura, age 64, of White Lake, was born November 21, 1958 in Detroit, and passed away October 10, 2023 at home with her family by her side. Beloved wife of Michael Ventura, sharing a loving bond since 1992. Loving mother of Daniel Evans and Lauren Evans. Treasured grandmother of Stephen "Gage" Paszek and Bryant Paszek. Cherished daughter of Theresa Chiado and the late Lawrence Dybash, and daughter-in-law of Leo and JoRose Ventura. Dear sister of Deborah Schwartz, MaryBeth (Timothy) Butler, and the late David Dybash, and sister-in-law of David (Jessica) Ventura, Scott Ventura (Julie Peterson), and Karen (Patrick) Berry. Theresa will be missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and numerous other family members and friends.

Theresa was an avid cyclist, often embarking on journeys covering over 200 miles at a time, showcasing her passion for adventure and endurance. In quieter moments, she found comfort in crocheting, weaving her creativity into intricate patterns. Her heart was a haven for her family and pets, for whom her love knew no bounds, making her a beloved and cherished member of their lives.

Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 11:00am until 4:00pm at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake.

In lieu of flowers, Theresa's family kindly requests either outside live plants or plantable flowers, or memorial contributions to be made to the American Cancer Society or the Michigan Humane Society.
