

Warren Harrison Houle, age 90, of Livonia, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Independence Village of White Lake. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Jill; his son, Brian (Natalie) Houle; his daughter, Susan Lott; and his three grandchildren: Derek, Brent, and Devin Houle.
Warren was born July 1, 1931, in Detroit, the son of Mr. & Mrs. George and Violete Houle. When he met Jill Petterson, the two started dating, fell in love, and were eventually married, sharing sixty-five wonderful years together. Warren proudly served his country during the Korean war in the United States Army from 1952 until 1954. Upon his honorable discharge, Warren returned home to begin his career with Unisys and Burroughs Corporation in Plymouth, where he worked for thirty-nine and a half years until his retirement in 1993.
Warren was a quiet and simple man who could be found watching sports in his free time; especially hockey games. Above all, he loved to travel and spend time with his family, who he loved so dearly. Warren was a hardworking and punctual man who always instilled these values in his family. He was a wonderful man who will be missed by many.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 24, 2021 from 2:00pm until 7:00pm and Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 9:30am until the time of the Funeral Service at 10:00am at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake. Burial with Military Honors will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 11:30am at Parkview Memorial Cemetery.
