Charles Wilson Webb Jr. (1944) of Wichita, KS went to be with his Savior on January 17, 2022. Born in Girdletree Maryland, he was the son of Melvinia and Charles Wilson Webb Sr. He is survived by his wife, Paula Webb; one son and daughter in law Mark and Jessica Webb of Leavenworth, KS; one daughter and son in law Lenora and Chris Biggs of Wichita, KS; two grandsons Aidan Webb of Lincoln, NE and Hudson Webb of Leavenworth, KS; three granddaughters Makenna and Brynlee Biggs of Wichita, KS and Harper Webb of Leavenworth KS; and one sister Mary Emily Nock of Eden, MD. Charlie graduated from Snow Hill Maryland High School in 1962. He then went to Goldy Beacon and earned a business degree. In April of 1965 he was drafted into the Navy. While in basic training he was in the drum and bugle corp. He ended up in Hawaii and then later on the USS Wright which was a floating Pentagon. After his discharge from the Navy he went to work for Moore Business Forms in the DC area. While in the DC area he became involved with the Navigators. In 1971 he moved to Kansas to work with the Navigator group at Fort Riley and McConnell Air Force Base. While in Kansas he met Paula Jones and they were married in 1974. While being involved in the Navigators he learned how to develop relationship with others and in becoming a servant leader. Family was very important to Him. His first priority was to develop his relationship to God. He loved to talk to everyone and make them feel important. He spent many years teaching Sunday School and driving children to Ponca Bible Camp. Charlie's main job was working for Boeing on military projects. He took the early retirement and started driving a school bus for Berean Academy, Maize and Central Christian. Many children profited from his tender loving care. Due to health issues he stopped driving the bus and retired. In retirement he was very helpful around the house and in serving other people. He loved developing relationships with people and talking their ears off. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday, January 22, 2022; Service: 10 a.m., Saturday, January 22, 2022, both at Pathway Church, 2001 N. Maize Road, Wichita, Kansas 67212. Graveside service to follow at 1 p.m. Whitewater Cemetery, Whitewater, Kansas.
