Donald R Norvell., 85 born March 8, 1929 went home to be with his Lord and Savor on April 28, 2014. Don worked as a material man with Boeing Aircraft Company for 31 years. On May 21, 1955 he married Ruth McQuiston. He is preceded in death by his parents; Homer, Minnie and Opal Norvell, son; Thomas Gann, brother; Freddie Norvell, Homer Norvell Jr, sister; Luella Pulsipher, grandson; Christopher Gann. Survived by his wife; Ruth Norvell, daughter; Delores (Joseph) Catron, brother; Lewis Norvell, sister; Loretta Jiles, grandsons; Jeremy Catron, Joseph Catron, James Gann, 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation 3-7p.m. Friday May 2, 2014 at Hillside Funeral Home West, 2929 W. 13th St, Wichita. Funeral Service 10a.m. Saturday May 3, 2014 at Immanuel Baptist Church, 1415 S. Topeka, Wichita. Burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be sent to Immanuel Baptist Church for greater things debt reduction.
