Janet Mary Dalrymple, was born on May 17th, 1947 in Wichita, KS. She passed on December 14th, 2025 peacefully in her sleep. She started her career in retail at Thurston's, she became a manager at Three Sisters and worked at Wolf Brothers as well, all high end boutiques. She always dressed the part as a classy lady, adorned herself with all the jewelry she could, just like her personality, the more bling, the better. She met Jerry Dalrymple here in Wichita and they got married at Cowtown, on March 18th, 1977. They spent most of their years in Conroe, Texas at their lakefront home that they designed together. They spent many hours on Therapy, that was the name of their sailboat!! While in Texas, Janet prided herself as one of the top travel agents in the area! This was perfect as they truly enjoyed traveling! As a travel agent, she planned a trip for them to the Caribbeans, where they sailed themselves on a personal yacht. They also had the privilege to be onboard the first ever, Disney Cruise!
They moved back to Wichita, to be closer to her mother, but whether here or there, she loved to entertain. She was the best hostess, opening their home up to family and friends for many events: game night, cards, puzzles, pool parties, dinner parties and holidays! Jerry always graciously agreed to it. But Janet's all-time favorite hobby was pulling weeds! No matter where she was, if she saw weeds, she'd stop to pull them! She also loved to tell jokes, but would forget that she'd already told you, Five Times!!!!! Speaking of five times, or Five Golden Rings (Jerry's favorite part) what we loved the most about her was that every Christmas she had her song books and would lead/Direct, the 12 Days of Christmas.
Janet was a loving daughter, a sassy sister, the fun aunt/great and great-great aunt, but most importantly Jerry's beautiful wife, his life!
Janet you were one class act, we love you and we will dearly miss you!
She is preceded in death by her sister Garalyn Kay, her brother Rudy Francis, her parent's Rudolph J. Moeder and Laurine C. (Endres) Moeder. She is survived by her siblings and their families Jadean Morrow, Judy Wendell (Dan), Kent Moeder (Kathy), Quentin Moeder (Sonya), Reena Crisler, Celestine Moeder (Nora), Tina Jacobs (Tim), Quentina Bevan.
