LaVeta Noyce-Holmes , 90 years, 7 months, 1 day old passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018. She was born Feb. 10, 1928 to Frank E. Cox and Flora Elsie McIrvin in Oxford, Kansas. Preceded in death by her first husband of 51 years Kenneth Noyce and brothers Homer Cox and Leo Cox. Survived by her loving husband of 21 years Raymond Holmes, her children: K. Duane (Annette) Noyce, Sandra Noyce (Jim) Walker, Darrell (Patricia) Noyce, brother Glenn (Dorothy) Cox, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. LaVeta worked as a Secretary for many years for KG&E and WSU. She loved camping, gardening, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She attended Asbury United Methodist Church and enjoyed the Bible Study sessions.
Visitation with family present, Wed. Sept. 12th from 6-8pm at Hillside Funeral Home West. Graveside Service, 1:30pm, on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
