Linda L Swart

Linda was born September 9, 1949, to the late Gerald and Lorane Cain in Wichita, Kansas. Linda has two brothers, Gary (deceased), and Don (Sue) Cain. Linda married Charles A. "Pete" Swart on June 4, 1990.

Linda enjoyed being with the kids and grandkids, singing in the church choir, gardening, garage sales, doing puzzles on the kitchen table, and cooking. And in the words of young Aaron: "Grandma, you're a good cooker".

Preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Lorane Cain, brother Gary Cain, grandson Cody Swart and great-grandson Cooper.

She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years Pete, her children: son Larry (Laura) Swart, grandson Brandon (Megan) Swart, great-grandchildren Devon and Camden, and Taelor; all of Indiana. Daughter Brenda (Larry) Ritthaler, grandson Aaron (Lance), grandson Andrew (Holly), granddaughter Ali, and great-grandchildren Brylee and Easton. Son Brian (Susan) May, granddaughter Lora (Chris), great-grandchildren Asher and Avery. Grandson Austin (Rene) and great-grandson Kayson. Daughter Cindy (Paul) Hunter, grandsons Logan and Braxton, and granddaughter Katie, her brother Don (Sue) Cain and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be held on, Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 11:00 am at Riverview Baptist Church, 844 W. 53rd St N. Wichita, KS 67204.
