

Lyndon was born on July 27, 1975 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Dennis A. and Marietta E. (Schwind) Inkelaar. He was the seventh of eight boys born to this union.
He grew up in Wichita, attended North High until his junior year and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Lansing, Kansas. He trained service animals, then went on to fabricating and welding. He was a welder for 25 years.
He was united in marriage to Valerie L. (Smith) on Friday, April 24, 2015 at Reno County Courthouse in front of a small gathering of family and friend. Xavier Jameson was brought into the union by Lyndon’s wife when their relationship started April 2, 2009.
He enjoyed making things with his hands and teaching Xavier. He enjoyed going to the lake and being outdoors. Lyndon loved spending time with family and his dogs when he wasn’t working. He was a wonderful cook and enjoyed the simple things in life. Lyndon was a quiet man but loved listening to Xavier play Cello and sing. He enjoyed cook outs with friends and family.
Lyndon is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Surviving family members include his loving wife of seven years and his stepson Xavier. His brothers Nathan A. and wife Vera of Wichita, Derwin A., Ethan A. and wife Stephanie, Tyrone A. and Judy of Wichita, Biden A. of Wichita, Kevin A. of Wichita, and Jayson A. He has one sister that he never got to meet. He also has one ex-stepsibling Amber “Alex” Bacon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and by many cousins. Lyndon is also survived by Valerie’s parents, Bernard and Elizabeth Smith of Valley Center, and her siblings Scott and Deborah Smith of Valley Center, Ritchie and Diane Gulledge of Rose Hill, and Bernard “John” Smith Jr. of Valley Center and their children.
