Rose grew up in Medford, Oklahoma and attended Medford High School, where she was a cheerleader. She also was a big Oklahoma Sooners fan, cheering Boomer Sooner alongside family. After graduating from Medford High, she took some college courses before entering the workforce.
She went on to work for Commerce Bank for 20 years in the mail room, but her greatest job was being a mom and a wife of 40 years. She loved her Rifleman Channel and her Little House On The Prairie shows, but you better go into a different room at 11:30 AM cause that’s when The Bold And The Beautiful came on!
Music fed her soul from country western music to Mexican music; it didn’t matter she would play it loud. Rose loved holidays because that’s when what’s her name would come over to cook whatchamacallits. If you know her well you know what that means.
When she passed she was surrounded by the people who took care of her and loved her so much this last hard year. ”It’s ok mom your battle is over you can finally rest. No more pain or suffering. Look over me and protect me until I see you again, I love you.”
