Bonita Anne Yawn, aged 77, passed away in the state of sanctifying grace on February 8, 2021. She was born on April 11, 1943 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to her parents, John and Sylvia Papagalos. Bonita married her husband, Donald Earl Yawn in 1957, who preceded her in death in 2010.
Bonita was a loving wife to Donald and she lived with the philosophy that the most important aspect of her life was motherhood. She gave her all for her sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. For her, nothing was ever too much to give, and she passed this way of life onto her family. Her attitude toward life was one of forgiveness, love, and compassion. She always said that life was too short to be upset, so she tried to end every interaction she had with a smile.
She is preceded in death by her grandson, Adam, and is survived by her brothers; John, David, and Douglas, her sons; Steven, Curtis, and John, her grandchildren; Steven, Amanda, Brigette, Tyler, Cody, and their spouses, as well as her numerous great-grandchildren.
