Mercedes LeBlanc Comeaux, 94, a native of Belle Rose and resident of Pierre Part, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Mercedes was the rock of her family and was devoted to taking care of everyone. She had a passion for making her children feel special and cooking. She leaves behind to cherish her four children, Rhonda Comeaux, Merwin Comeaux (Faye), Nelson Comeaux and Eric Comeaux (Loretta); four grandchildren, Betsy LeBlanc (Kevin), Steven Comeaux (Jennifer), Ginger Bryan (Timmy) and Garrett Comeaux (Macy); six great grandchildren, Jacob and Reed LeBlanc, Gabrielle and Eli Vaughn and Hailey and Kaitlyn Comeaux; five sisters, Lois Landry, Gladys Charlet, Anna Rose Theriot, Deanna LeBlanc, and Jean Dugas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roland Comeaux; parents, Theodule and Maria Guillot LeBlanc; four siblings, Murphy LeBlanc, Raymond LeBlanc, Agnus Richard, and Ura Mae Thibodaux. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 9am until Service at 11am at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part. Interment will be held in the St. Joseph the Worker Mausoleum. The family would like to thank Cardinal Hospice, especially David and Rev. Jimmy and KimberLee S. Rivere for their care and support.
