Evelyn White, 93, passed away on June 11, 2021. Graveside services and a celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021 in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery, 3969 Mercer University Drive, Macon, GA 31204, with Reverend I.E. Mack officiating.
Mrs. Evelyn was born on October 12, 1927 in Gibson, GA to the late Booker and Omie Dixon. After her retirement in 2004 from Hoffmann- La Roche in NJ, she moved back home to be close to her family. Mrs. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Lucius White. She was a loving wife for 70 years, sister, aunt and friend.
Survivors include her nieces, Tammie Barksdale, of Byron, Patricia Hall, of Warner Robins, Sophia Dow, of Byron, and Beatrice Smith, of Macon; sister-in-law, Daisy Taylor; a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
