She is survived by two daughters: Mary Lou (Michel Goudreau) of Pointe-à-la-Croix and Patty Pollock of Fredericton; four grand-children, Martin (Manon St-Germain) and Maryse Goudreau (Mathieu Bouchard Malo); Douglas and David Pollock (Kelly Rushlow) and two great grand-children, Emma and Félix Goudreau.
Her spouse, Roméo Ruet, a former postmaster in Campbellton, preceded her in 1990. She was a long-time resident of Campbellton where she was involved with the Girl Guides of Canada, the Catholic Women’s League, a honorary member of the New Brunswick Senior Citizen’s Federation and in later years was active with the Village Nursing Home Auxiliary.
The family would like to thank the Campbellton Village Nursing Home and their staff for their wonderful and compassionate care.
A service will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas church in Campbellton on Monday November 4th at 11 am followed by the burial at the cemetery. All times have been expressed on Atlantic Time (N.B.).
The family will receive relatives and friends at Maher’s Funeral Home in Campbellton on Sunday, November 3rd from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Monday morning, November 4th from 10:00 am to 10:40 am.
