When I was young, Arthur used to take me and Walter around in his delivery truck for Freddy Malcolm's. He'd give us chocolate bars and chips every time and I thought he was the nicest man I ever met. Whenever I saw him over the next 30 years, he was still that.  He always greeted me with a happy and boisterous "How's she goin' buddy?!", he'd give me tips on who to bet on at the races, and ask how things were in Halifax. He was always positive, generous and friendly, and influenced  me in more ways than he probably knew.  You were a great man, Arthur. Thanks for the memories and may you Rest in Peace 

Was just talking to Authur on Wednesday morning & c an’t believe he’s gone. So sorry for your loss . Hugs to all of you.

I'm so sorry to hear of Arthur's passing. He was such a nice person and always greeted me with a warm smile and a laugh over a lot of years. My condolences to all his family.

So sorry to hear this news. I have very fond memories of Arthur delivering groceries from Freddy’s. Always a big smile and such humour and kindness. Condolences to the family.
