In his early teen years, Randy began his life long career in the Theatre Business. Taking tickets, serving popcorn, and eventually gaining the title of Projectionist. In 1971 Randy decided to join the Navy, and see the world. A dream that was short lived as he was honorably discharged in November 1972 after his wooden minesweeper sank in the Marianas Trench.
Upon his return from the Vietnam War, Randy went back to doing what he knew best! Throughout the next 40 years he operated over 30 different Theaters, eventually owning one of his own. Randy went on to also being a 30 year career in the Auto Parts Industry. From many years as an outside salesman, to ultimately running Barstow’s local Napa Auto Parts for over 15 years!
David Randal Shull Sr. was a fire cracker, never willing to slow or sit down. He always wanted to display his best hand, and he lived every moment to the fullest!!
Randy is survived by the “Love Of His Life” his wife Rita Shull. His children David Shull Jr, Derek Shull, Heather Shull, and Michelle Fielder. His nephew Courtney Webb. His grandchildren Bradley Shull, Destiny Shull, Zoey Shull, Josiah O’Neal, Jett Shull, Novah Stephens, Ryder Shull, and Naheema Stephens.
