Born in Midlandvale, Alberta, Harry's early passion for the violin eventually gave way to endless officiating at his kids' swim meets, all while enjoying a successful career as a CFO. Harry's outgoing personality was evident in his love for striking up conversations with strangers and learning about new cultures, much to the embarrassment of his children at restaurants. In his limited spare time, he savoured music in all forms, relished dancing with his wife, dominated his sons in racquetball and enjoyed keeping fit with his fellow "old fogey" friends in Edmonton.
However, above all, Harry cherished his beloved wife Ruth, his children Stuart, Maria, William, and Keith, and his four grandchildren. He devoted endless time to his family and was their hero. His memory will be forever cherished in their hearts.
Rest in peace, Harry, and may your cribbage hands be forever unbeatable in the great beyond.
