Her early years were spent chasing after her older brother and sister, David John and Deborah Lynn, at a home in Greeley until her family relocated to the farmstead in LaSalle in 1959. There the family raised pigs, chickens, and a couple cows, and had a garden to be envious of.
Diana obtained her CNA certificate before she graduated from Valley High School in 1975. In 1976 she began working for Hewlett Packard and worked in that company’s plants in both Fort Collins and Greeley. In 1983, she married Mitchell Brent Romine of Cope, Colorado, and together they welcomed their only daughter, Rebbecca EllaAreatha, in 1985.
After leaving Hewlett Packard in 1999, Diana worked various jobs in Greeley, including at The Bridge Assisted Living Facility and Weld County School District 6, always making sure her family was provided for.
She enjoyed fishing, camping, crocheting, and a good bag of potato chips. She shared her love of bingo with her mother and daughter, and her love of The Bold and the Beautiful with her longtime friend, Pat.
Those who greeted her on the other side include her husband, father, mother, brother, sister, aunts, uncles, a nephew, a great nephew, and lots of pets. She leaves behind her daughter, son-in-law (Jacob Woodruff), granddaughter (Charlotte), nephew (Keith Allmer), nieces (Abigail, Melissa, and Kimberly), great nieces (Samantha and Gabriella), great-great nephew (Jayson), special friend (Patricia Hansen), six cats, and lots of extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 14 at 11:30am at Stoddard Funeral Home in Greeley, Colorado. The family invites anyone with a memory of Diana to share it in the online memorial guest book at: https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/12759250
