Truly the most loving caring man, husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, and  friend anyone could ever have.  We will miss him very much! How lovely that he joined June on mother's day!  I wish we could witness him joining his siblings, friends and loved ones- heaven is a happy place today!

Dan, Nancee, Lynn and your families. Jeanne and I want to express our deepest sympathies to you. John was what I liked to say was the Dick Clark of Dogtown. He never changed. Physically or personality wise.  When Jeanne and brought mom down to see both him and  June a couple of years ago, it was like old times at the Carter house. Jeanne having grown up just up the street was really cool when your mom and Dad started reminiscing about the old days in dog town.  I know Jeanne did not know your mom or dad, but they made a very big impression on her.  June and Johnny will always have a place in our hearts.  They have been reunited again along with my dad. I don't know how heaven is going to deal with those guys!  Many a good times at your house and ours. Keep the faith!!!!

John you touched my life in many ways. Mostly with our great "talks". It was the best 5 years of my life, knowing I had you and Junie to talk to.  My son Jeff was very lucky to have both of you to influence his growing up.  Your three kids always felt like my own.  I will miss your ever present smile the most! Tell June hello for me.
