Phyllis J. Slater, 70, of Fort Wayne, passed away on May 4, 2016. Born on November 6, 1945, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Donald and LuWanda Driver; and retired in 1998 from Seiferts Potato Chips, after several years of service.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Joe Slater; children, Mark J. Slater, Christine (Dalaun) Seavers and Dean (Chassidy) Slater; grandsons, Kevin Slater, Jeremy Slater, Tyler Slater, and Michael Koogler; great-grandchildren, Issabelle, Landin and Elliott. She was also preceded in death by her brother, David Driver.
Memorial service will be 7pm Saturday May 7, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling from 3 to 7pm, prior to service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Parkview Home Health and Hospice.
