Abigail "Abby" Wireman

Abigail Wireman passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026, at Suji Home in Marshall, Michigan. Abby was born on February 01, 1924, in Magoffin County, Kentucky, living a long life of 102 years. She was born to Adam and Sally (Neely) Wireman.

Abby married Edward (Johnny) Wireman and had four children: Freida Martinson of Coldwater, MI, Reva (Jim) Hall of Homer, MI, Lori (Tim) Whittaker of Albion, MI, and a son, Mark Edward Wireman who passed away as an infant.

Abigail worked at McGraw Edison for many years until they closed in 1980 then went to work at Marshall Manor until she retired in 1986. She loved making quilts, crocheting, cooking, and growing a garden.

She is survived by her three children, five grandchildren: Kara Martinson of Coldwater, MI, Michele Harcourt of Albion, MI, Billy (Laura) Martinson of Coldwater, MI, Jamie Hall of Iowa, and Jessica (Whittaker) Robinson, three great-grandchildren, Paige Harcourt of Waterford, MI, Jillian Derrickson of Coldwater, MI, and William Martinson of Coldwater, MI, one great-great granddaughter, Eloise of Coldwater, MI, two nieces, of North Vernon, Indiana, and one nephew of Mooresville, Indiana.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Sally (Neely) Wireman, husband, Edward (Johnny) Wireman, sister, Cynthia Whittaker, and granddaughter, Jessica (Whittaker) Robinson.

The family would like to thank her special caregivers Tasha, Jackie, and Hellen. You were wonderful to her.

A graveside service for Abby will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 3:00PM at Albion Memory Gardens, 26905 B Drive S, Albion, MI 49224.
