

Jeania Sue Brown, age 67, of Pierson, Michigan, formerly of Homer, Michigan, passed away on June 10, 2026, with her family by her side. She was born on March 11, 1959, in Albion, Michigan to Kermit and Dorothy (Walker) Oliphant.
Jeania devoted 33 years of work to Challenge Manufacturing. Her decades of commitment was more than just a job, she enjoyed her work and the people she worked with. She also enjoyed bowling, even winning at state. She cherished the times spent picking strawberries with her mother and making freezer jam. She often travelled to Florida and Missouri to spend time with family. She loved her beloved poodles, especially Angel. Most of all, Jeania loved her family.
Jeania leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Perry Brown; sisters, Joann Generi and Judy Stephens; brother, Jack Oliphant; in-laws, Kenneth Bailey, Anna Daughtery, Bonnie Elkins, Noah Brown, Linda Brown, David Brown and Vivien Moroski; step-siblings, David Springer, Betty Owens and Billy Davis, as well as, several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Jeania is preceded in death by her parents, Kermit and Dorothy (Walker) Oliphant; sister, Joyce Coburn; in-laws, Edward Bown Jr. and Joan Brown, Sue Aldridge and Terry Brown; step-siblings, Kathy Umbarger and Sandra Davis.
The family will receive visitors for a visitation on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, MI 49224. A funeral service will take place the following day, Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 10:00AM. She will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery, Albion, MI.
