Nancy graduated from Albion High School in 1968. A year later, on December 6, she married the love of her life, Wesley Harris, and they lived on the farm next door to her parents.
Nancy was an avid reader. She loved learning and could usually be found with a book or crossword puzzle in her hands, ready to share a fun fact or some interesting trivia. She was particularly interested in astronomy and space travel. Summer was her favorite season by far because she loved to be outside soaking up the sun and seeing all the flowers. She and Wesley enjoyed going to many fairs and car shows and talking to the people they would meet. Nancy loved baking and sharing her cookies and cakes with family and friends. She also enjoyed listening to her records, knitting, drawing, and jigsaw puzzles as well as cats, lizards, and frogs. Nancy was a loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family meant the world to her, and the world feels smaller without her.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband of nearly 60 years, Wesley Harris, her only daughter, Karen (Daniel) Michlovitch, and her three grandchildren, Natalia, Declan, and Elijah Michlovitch. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Nancy did not want a funeral, but there will be a celebration of her life at a later date.
